Gel Topcoat can be applied as a topcoat over any stain. Gel Stains have urethane in them, but Gel Topcoat has a higher urethane content, making it suitable for providing additional protection over Gel Stains. This oil-based penetrating finish will darken and amber over time. It has a dry time of 12-24 hours and a cure time of 30 days. It is recommended to apply a minimum of 3 coats using hand application tools such as a cloth, natural bristle brush, foam brush, or paint pad applicator. Cleanup can be done with mineral spirits. Gel Topcoat is ideal for detailed pieces and projects of any size.
