INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

SURFACE PREPARATION: Proper surface preparation is essential when refinishing furniture. It is important to remove any synthetic varnish or paints by sanding before applying shellac to ensure a smooth finish.

LINSEED OIL AS A PROTECTIVE COAT: Linseed Oil can be used as a protective first coat before applying shellac. This step is optional but recommended for added protection. If using a protective first coat, we recommend Terlans Linseed Oil.

USE OF LINT-FREE CLOTH: When applying shellac, use a lint-free cloth to ensure a smooth finish without any fluff.

HOW TO APPLY SHELLAC VARNISH: Shellac is easy to apply in thin coats that dry quickly at room temperature. Multiple coats can be applied on top of each other, with each coat enhancing the shiny appearance of the finish.
