For a faster build over raw wood, use General Finishes Sanding Sealer as the initial coat, followed by 2 coats of Enduro Clear Poly Topcoat for a self-crosslinking polyurethane that dries water white. This topcoat is ideal for projects where increased solids (28%) and durability are desired. Avoid applying clear topcoats over bright white paint, as yellowing may occur due to a reaction with the substrate. Light color paints may also experience some yellowing from topcoat application, but it will be less noticeable. Only use spray on application - we recommend Accuspray HVLP atomizing sets with a .043 -.051 tip and nozzle, along with a No. 9 -10 air cap. The Enduro Clear Poly Topcoat in the can appears water white but dries clear.
