Enduro Water Based Clear Poly, 1 Gallon, Semi-Gloss

Enduro Clear Poly Topcoat is a self-crosslinking polyurethane that dries clear. It has a higher solids content (28%) and offers increased durability, making it suitable for a wide range of projects. When using this topcoat, it is important to avoid applying it over bright white paint, as it may yellow over time due to a reaction with the substrate. Light-colored paints may also experience some yellowing when a topcoat is applied, but this is usually less noticeable.

For optimal results, Enduro Clear Poly Topcoat should be applied using a spray gun with an Accuspray HVLP atomizing set featuring a .043 to .051 tip and nozzle, along with a No. 9-10 air cap. The product appears water white in the can but dries completely clear upon application.

If you need to build up layers quickly on raw wood surfaces, we recommend using General Finishes Sanding Sealer as the first coat before applying 2 coats of Enduro Clear Poly Topcoat. This will help achieve a faster build and enhance the overall finish of your project.
