100% Pure Tung Oil - 1 Gallon (3.78L)

Our Tung Oil, derived from the cold pressed seeds of the Tung tree, is a 100% pure and natural product. It serves as a hard drying oil that deeply penetrates wood fibers, enhancing the beauty of wood grain and creating a rich matte finish. Not only does it protect wood from acid, water, and grease, but it is also zero VOC's and safe for food contact, making it ideal for a variety of applications such as flooring, furniture, decks, siding, concrete, stone, metal, interiors, and exteriors.

To apply, simply saturate a rag and wipe off any excess after 30 minutes. Allow 24 hours before applying another coat, with typically 2-4 coats yielding optimal results. A 16 oz can cover 50 square feet per coat, while a 32 oz can cover 100 square feet per coat, and a gallon can cover 400 square feet per coat.

For enhanced penetration and faster drying, consider mixing Tung Oil with citrus solvent or mineral spirit. Avoid using over oil-based stains for best results. It is important to keep the temperature above freezing during and after application for a period of two weeks.
