With water resistance, it is recommended to apply a minimum of two coats to protect against spills of tea, coffee, wine, and soft drinks. And because it is solvent-free, there are no harmful chemicals used in its production. The hard-wearing finish is scratch and scuff resistant, making it perfect for high traffic areas like kitchen worktops, hallway floors, and dining tables. If any areas start to wear, they can easily be spot repaired by sanding and applying a new coat of hard wax oil. Heat resistance has been tested, proving its durability against hot beverages and plates. It is also food safe, suitable for use on surfaces where food is prepared and stored. Certified for slip resistance, it is suitable for domestic, commercial, and wet areas. In addition, it is toy safe with no harmful chemicals, making it perfect for all unfinished wooden surfaces like doors, floors, dining tables, coffee tables, and kitchen worktops. To apply, ensure the surface is clean and dry, then use a lint-free cloth, brush, or sponge roller to apply two coats for the best results. Sanding between coats is recommended for a smoother finish. Trade tips include removing excess oil during application and applying in thin layers for optimal performance.
