Our paint is self-sealing, eliminating the need for an additional topcoat. This unique feature ensures that your final product is both durable and protected, saving time and effort.

Preventing Yellowing

Avoid applying clear topcoats over bright white paint, as this can cause yellowing due to a chemical reaction with the substrate. For other light color paints, yellowing may still occur with topcoat application, but it will be less noticeable.

Raw Wood Application

Yes, our paint can be used over raw wood. However, for optimal results, apply GF’s Stain Blocker first to prevent potential wood tannin bleed-through.

Coating Requirements

Two to three coats of our paint are typically required to achieve the desired coverage and durability.
