General Finishes Exterior 450 Stains are premium quality wood stains designed for exterior projects with vertical surfaces such as fences, patio furniture, garage doors, entrance doors, outdoor kitchens, and interior windows. These stains are manufactured in the USA and are not recommended for use on large horizontal surfaces like decks.
The Exterior 450 Stains contain U.V. absorbers to protect the finish from sunlight, but they will not prevent the wood from changing color over time. They are easy to apply with a brush, roller, or spray, and can be cleaned up with soap and water.
Proudly made in America by General Finishes in East Troy, Wisconsin, these stains are suitable for use on wood, MDF, and fiberglass. They dry quickly in around 2 hours under ideal conditions of 70ºF/20ºC and 50% humidity.
These stains are VOC compliant in all U.S. states and are made with renewable resources like plant proteins, making them an eco-friendly choice in the paint and coatings industry. They are available in 14 colors, including 13 stock colors and a natural base.
