Do Not Apply Clear Topcoats Over Bright White Paint

Avoid applying clear topcoats over bright white paint to prevent yellowing. This reaction is due to the substrate, and yellowing may occur because of a chemical interaction.

Light Color Paints and Yellowing

Light color paints may also experience yellowing when clear topcoats are applied, though the yellowing will be less noticeable compared to bright white paints.

Spray Application Recommended

For easy and clean application, use a spray method. We recommend using Accuspray HVLP atomizing sets with the following settings:

• Tip and nozzle: 0.043 - 0.051
• Air cap: No. 9 - 10

Water White in Can

Water White paint in can is clear-drying, making it ideal for these applications.

Enhanced Finish on Raw Wood

For a faster build over raw wood, apply General Finishes Sanding Sealer as the first coat. Follow this with two coats of Enduro Clear Poly Topcoat for a durable and professional finish.
